This is just to get more understanding on the tracing interfaces like RTP and ETM. Would like to know what the differences between these modules. Would like to know about RTP and ETM if they can be used for Stack tracing?
How to configure those modules. Can you please point me to the relevant materials.

RTP can trace all the data write or read accesses to internal RAM. Consider the following documents from iSystems as an example.

ETM provides instruction and data trace of program execution. TI CCS supports ETM trace on TMS570 device using an external trace tool:
TI HDK has a 60-pin MIPI connector which contains JTAG signals and ETM signals. After connection xds560v2 pro to HDK, the trace features under CCS->tool can be used. Regarding ETM, please refer to ARM TRM: https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ddi0469/b/introduction/features
