Hi QJ,

Please show me more details about the function add_device. Does this function is a sequential logic function, which can only be called when power is on?

Do you tell me if the add_device() is allowed to be executed many times by the hot reset? if it is not allowed, how to resolved it ?

Hi Susan,

I have similar question from Waite Wang. He said add_device() is from one of our libraries. TI released three libraries for Hercules device: SafeTI Diagnostic Library, F021 Flash API Library, Cortex-R4 CMSIS DSP Library. There is not add_device() API in those libraries.

If the customer means the add_device() in the RTS (runtime support library), I can forward the question to compiler forum to get help.
