On an existing product design I am trying to add MIBSPI1 as a standard SPI port and use MIBSPI1NCS[5] as my chip select. SCLK and MOSI work just as configured in HALCoGen, but MIBSPI1NCS[5] remains low no matter what I do with the control registers which means I can't talk to the slave device. I have commented out all other features of the product so SPI1 is the only thing running but still with no luck. Does this have anything to do with the fact I'm not using it as an MibSPI or am I missing something else.
