TMS570LS3137: Executing TMS570 Launchpad From IAR Workbench

Hello,

I have IAR WB IDE and TMS570 Launchpad. I try to turn on launchpad NHET Leds. However i am not able to run them. What could be the problem.

Hi,

The N2HET pins can be used as GIO pins, so you can use the GIO APIs to set/clear/read those N2HET pins.

For example, if the LED is connected to N2HET[1] pin, the LED can be turn on using this way:

gioSetPort(hetPORT1, gioGetPort(hetPORT1) ^ 0x00000002);

My question is i am not able to download program into the TMS570 launchpad from IAR workbench. However i download with CCS. TMS570 has a problem with IAR WB could it be?

The IAR WB supports TMS570 devices. There should be no problem to download the program to the flash.
