CCS/TMS570LS3137: about load fiexd postion flash problem

You can load second file to flash. If the second file is in .hex format or .out format, the starting address of the 2nd file should be different from the first file, otherwise, the 1st file will be overwritten. If the 2nd file is in .bin format, you can give the starting address for this file in uniflash.

• Choose a program to flash by clicking the Browse button, and you can either load the program or use it to verify against the content on the device.
• Click on the "Binary" checkbox if you want to load the file as binary, a start address is needed for this.
• Click on the "+" icon to add and load multiple flash images. Only the checked images will be flashed. You need to be sure that the images does not overwrite each other in the target memory.

The following formats are supported by Uniflash:TI COFF, TI ELF, Intel Hex, Motorola S-Record, Tektronix Hex, TI-TXT, and binary.

Another way to program your variables to flash is to use FEE (emulated EEPROM). The HalCoGen generates FEE drivers.

You can load your first image to flash starting at 0x00000000 as usual.

For 2nd image, you can modify the linker cmd file to a new starting address. For example:

VECTORS (X) : origin=0x00100000 length=0x00000020
FLASH0 (RX) : origin=0x00010020 length=0x00070000

The 2nd image is mapped to 0x100000 after compiling/linking. You can use load those two images to flash using uniflash.
