TMS570LC4357: Military temp range and lead free package

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

Hello, in another thread it has been stated that TMS5704357BGWTEP and TMS5704357BZWTQQ1 have the same characteristics apart from the temperature range and the RoHS/REACH status.

I was wondering if these two parts are manufactured in the same line, and the only differences are the screening process and the solder balls material.

The purpose of my question is that I would like to use this part in a -55 °C application, but I also need RoHS/REACH compliance. So I was wondering if it were possibile to just reball TMS5704357BGWTEP with Pb-free balls and in this way achieve a "theoretical" RoHS/REACH compliance.

A related (and perhaps more proper) question would be: are there plans from TI to provide a -55 °C, RoHS/REACH compliant variant of this part in the near future?

Thank you!

L.
