I have a confusion，I use a timer for Io square，this square have security function.so I control the timer by calumniate some data.

if I want to stop the timer,but did not close timer successfully.means the cpu have errors.so how can I Identify errors，IO recognition is also recognized。

Hi Whong,

I am not very clear about your question. The Timer can be enabled or disabled by setting or clearing the bit[1:0] of RTIGCTRL register.

How do you know it is an interrupt error? Does the CPU get abort?

Hello

An interrupt is broken.which is suppose.The cpu dont know the interrupt is error.

for example, rti 1 is broken.and I use the rit controller a IO.

if an the rt1 is error ，the system is risk

Hello,

The RTI module contains at minimum two up-counters that can be used to provide an operating system time-tick. While one up-counter is used as the operating system timebase, it is possible to use the second up counter as a diagnostic on the first, via periodic check via software of the counter values in the two timers.
