Hallo All,

Our goal is to implement UDP protocol by ipv6 on the launchxl2-570lc43 Launchpad. Currently we could implement the udp protocol by ipv4 on launchxl2-570lc43 uisng Iwip version1.4.1. I would like to change it from ipv4 to ipv6. However when i try to use ipv6 option instaed of ipv4 provieded in Iwip version1.4.1 I am having so many problems.

1. Does IWIP version 1.4.1 supprot ipv6? If not which version might support IPV6 on launchxl2-570lc43.

2. Is there any other options, where I can achieve my goal?

I'm working with launchxl2-570lc43 and Venus GX. I'm trying to implement MODBUS communication to read data from Venus GX. Please help to Read data from Venus GX. I also want to know how did you solve this issue referred below.

We don't have plan to update HALCOGen for using Iwip version1.4.1.

Hey Wnag,

Thanks for your quick response. As I mentioned earlier I could use the UDP by ipv4 on launchxl2. I would like to use ipv6 instaed of ipv4, I do not think I need to update HALCOGEN to use IPV6. Correct me if I am wrong.

Is there any documentation or e2e posts, which points me how to use UDP or TCP by ipv6 on launchxl2-570lc43 .

Hi Venkatesh,

Our LWIP example support lwip 1.4.1. We don't have a plan to support lwip 2.x.x. I am sorry for my typo in my last message.
