Using bqstudio with the BQ27541G1, bqstudio displays BQ2754 after RESET

Do you know the package type of the IC,  Is it DSBGA (YZF) or VSON (DRZ)?

Thank you for the information. Can you tell us the result of "DEVICE_TYPE" command from Transaction log of "commands" windows which is on right hand side? This is expected to be 0x0541 for BQ27541-G1 IC

it still is 0X0545.

Thank you. This confirms that bqStudio is detecting correctly. I will check with the hardware team on why the gauge is reporting 0x0545 and get back hopefully by end of day tomorrow.

I received a response from the hardware team that there is no known way the device number can change as described.

The finished battery probably has a BQ27545-G1 in it. The bq27541-G1 and BQ27545-G1 have similar functionality and may be used as replacements for the other when inventory is low.

Please take a picture of the top marking of the IC and post if you find that the finished battery has a bq27541-G1 IC in it.

Please update the status of this thread based on what you find.
