TM4C1294NCPDT: SSI Communication protocol for TM4C1294NCPDT

Dear All,

Could someone give me detail information about SSI communication protocol for TM4C1294CNCPDT.

I can see in data sheet that it has 1) SSI0CLK, 2) SSI0Fss, 3) SSI0DAT0, 4) SSI0DATI, 5) SSI0DAT2, and 6) SSI0DAT3.

Which two from the above to configure for Rx(MISO) and Tx(MOSI) and again from SSI0DAT0 or SSIDAT1 or SSI0DAT2 or SSI0DAT3 ?

Please let me know for above configuration.

Hi,

The SSI0XDAT2 and SSI0XDAT3 are for parallel mode. I believe you want to use the legacy SPI mode which will only use CLK, FSS, SSIDAT0 and SSIDAT1. The SSIDAT0 is the SSITX and SSIDAT1 is the SSIRX in legacy mode. The SSITX will be the MOSI and the SSIRX will be the MISO.
