Hi Experts,

Hello Simon,
The main difference of IPv6 over IPv4 is the extended address space, that is roughly 8*10^28 times larger. An IPv4 address is composed of 4 decimal byte values in the so called dot-decimal notation, and an IPv6 address consists of 16 bytes in hexadecimal notation.
So my understanding is that the EMAC on TMS570 is able to support both IPv4 and IPv6.
Hi QJ,
Thanks for the answer. Do we provide software/driver lib support for IPv6?
Hello Simon,
Micrium TCP/IP stack supports TMS570LC43x, please check if IP6 is supported by this stack.
