TMS570LC4357: EMIF Data Bus

Hello. A pull-up resistor is mounted on the board for the data bus signal of the microcomputer. It is always 0V except for EMIF access. Is it a specification that does not have high impedance except for EMIF access? Or is there a register setting etc.? Best Regards.

Hello,

The EMIF data pins have internal pull-down. The EMIF always drives the EMIF Data bus to the previous write data value when it is idle. This is called Data Bus Parking.

Hello. Is the internal pull-down fixed? Is it recommended that no pull-up on the boat is required if fixed? Best Regards.

Please refer to table 4-18 in datasheet. The EMIF_Data[x] pins have fixed internal pull-down.
