TMS570LC4357: Is there a mapping of registers set by eFuse?

Part Number: TMS570LC4357

In the Technical Reference Manual for this device it outlines Flash OTP banks. Some Banks are designated for Customer OTP and the others for TI OTP. I am wondering if the values of the TI OTP are programmed via eFuse. Specifically the

Is the only interface to the eFused configuration registers through the self-tests presented by the eFuse Controller Registers?

  • Hello Kevin,

After power up reset, the eFuse controller automatically reads the values of the eFuses and shifts them into registers. This operation is known as the efuse autoload sequence. These values stores in the registers are used to control some of the on-chip modules such as flash banks, pump and SRAM array. The content of OTP is not programmed via EFuse.

The eFuse controller self test performs extensive validation of the ECC logic in the eFuse controller. It can be done through configuring 3 EFuse registers listed in TRM. Please refer to section 38.3.2.5.
