RM57L843: Not able to debug EMAC_Loopback_TxRx example code

Hi team,

I'm trying to establish an Ethernet communication between Hercules and PC. I have used EMAC_Loopback_TxRx example code to get some Idea.

I have done all the configuration in HALCOGEN as shown in example code. But I'm facing issue while running the code in CCS, I have put a breakpoint in main function but the code is got stuck in EMACHWInit function.

I'm attaching the code along with the HALCOGEN files.

Please let me know if anything required/remaining in HALCOGEN settings.

Hello Aditya,

Under HALCoGen MPU tab, please configure the SRAM region (0x08000000~0x08xxxxxxx) as cache write through instead of cache write back if the cache is enabled.

Hi QJ,

Its already configured as cache write through. But example_EMAC_Loopback_TxRx.c" does not works.

Hello,

The MDIO and MDCLK pins (G3, V5) are multiplexed with other functional pins (NHET, MibSPI). You need to configure the pinmux to use those two pins for MDIO. Checking "MII" or "RMII" in HALCOGEN pinmux window doesn't select G3 and V5. You have to select MDIO and MDCLK manually.
