I can help you with setting up the SPI on the TM4C123GH6PM. First I suggest you get an evaluation kit (EK-TM4C123GXL), and download Code Composer Studio and TivaWare if you have not already done so. I have attached a simple Code Composer project that configures the SSI (SPI) module. thank you mr.bob for your reply. what we are looking for is not how to use spi in tiva c but it is how to communicate with ads1018 using spi means which registers we need to send and recieve from and what we have to send

Since you entered TM4C123GH6PM as the part number for this forum thread, your question came to me. I will forward this thread to the group that supports the ADS1018. It might help them if you are more specific in your question. The basic flow chart for operation is shown on page 25 of the datasheet.

As Bob said, we will need more specific questions in order to help you with the ADS1018. The SPI communication scheme is well-documented in the ADS1018 datasheet. Can you tell us what you have tried, and what is not working?
