TM4C129XNCZAD: TM4C129XNCZAD Ethernet PHY in System Configuration tool

Part Number: TM4C129XNCZAD
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

I'm in SysConfig 1.5.0+1397 and setting up the internal Ethernet PHY.  The only signals listed appear to be Ethernet MAC signals, not the Ethernet PHY signals.  How do I define the Internal Ethernet PHY signals shown on the right side of Figure 24-14 in tm4c129xnczad.pdf (EN0TXOP (V15), EN0TXON (V14), EN0RXIP (W13), EN0RXIN (V13)?

Pin-Mux 4.0.1543 shows the same issue.

  • Hi John,

The reason is that these are fixed pins only for the PHY. The PHY differential signals only appear at these pins (V15, V14, W13 and V13) They don't appear anywhere else and they don't multiplex with other signals either and this is the reason you don't see them in the sysconfig for alternate functions.
