RM48L952: CSP-tests for fault injection

Part Number: RM48L952
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Hi,

In our setup, all compliance tests, provided in the 2.4.0_LDRA_Less-package fail on FAULT_INJECTION tests ( e.g. SRAM_ECC_1BIT_FAULT_INJECTION, SRAM_ECC_ERROR_PROFILING_FAULT_INJECT, PSCON_SELF_TEST_ERROR_FORCING_FAULT_INJECT, PSCON_ERROR_FORCING_FAULT_INJECT, FEE_ECC_TEST_MODE_1BIT_FAULT_INJECT, FEE_ECC_TEST_MODE_2BIT_FAULT_INJECT). This is so for ESM, FEE, PMM, and RAM tests.

However, in HalcoGEN, all selftests except for "Enable Flash ECC Check" are enabled.

Are these compliance tests supposed to work on RM48 and if so, what could possibly be wrong in our setup?

  • All those fault injection feature is supported by Hercules devices. Did you run those tests using Safety Diagnostic Library without using CSP? I am sorry I don't have CSP on my laptop. But I will try those test after I install the CSP package later.

  • I am not completely sure about the difference between Safety Diagnostic Library and CSP, but I was running a tool included into the CSP package, SafetyLibraryTAU.exe (also called LDRA-TI-Qual) and a CSP test suite.

Perhaps you could give me some advice on how our setup should be, to be sure that the fault injection is active? And then perhaps we could reason from there, what could possibly be missing in our setup, as it is now.

    Regards

    /Avenir
