can i observe the data bus and address bus of internal tms570 core when my code is running?

by this way, i can use logic analyzer to observe the executing of my code, just like observing the bus of many MPU, whose code is running in external RAM or FLASH.

Which device are you using?

TMS570LS2 serie integrates the ETM (Embedded Trace Macrocell).
This module allows to trace instruction execution as well as Data transfer.
External trace capture hardware and software is necessary to analyze the trace.
Isystem, Lauterbach are third party supporting our devices.

More information about the ARM Cortex-R4F CPU and the ETM (Embedded Trace Macrocell) can be obtained from Advanced RISC Machines Limited (ARM).

now i used TMS570LS20216zwt.

TMS570LS2 serie is the next generation? which future added? i didn't see any information about TMS570LS2.

The TMS570LS20216zwt is part of the TMS570LS family.

This is a BGA version and you have the ETM on this part.
Can you tell me what hardware board you are using for your development?

Yang,

To be able to use the ETM module for trace, you need external hardware to capture the trace an process it.

In order to connect this trace hardware, you need to layout the ETM signals to a specific connector.
Some trace vendor are using Mictor connector, other are using MIPI connector.
