MSP432P401R: Board is getting hot

Part Number: MSP432P401R

Hi Team, we would like to confirm the possible cause and solution for this situation.

Initially, MSP432P401R Launchpad not working, it's getting hot without the power LED getting on. I suggested the checking similar to this e2e post.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/713320?MSP432P401R-OVERHEATING-issue-on-MSP432board-RED-board-

After checking, the board was tested with external 3.3VDC by removing all jumpers at J101. The device not getting heat up.

Is there a possible workaround for the device?

Thank you.

Regards,

Mark
