Hello team,

My customer sends a photo of the BOOSTXL-EDUMKII he ordered. Only the bottom portion of the LCD is lighting up

Compare to the LCD of his colleague BOOSTXL-EDUMKII. Can we consider this as defective?

Hi Renan,

It's possible that could be a defective board, but lets check a couple things.

Are they using the example project?

Also, there is a note in the users guide, section 2.1.8, regarding the backlight pin. See the note in section 3.3.2 and ensure that J5 is set to Backlight as well. From the picture, it does not look like J5 is set properly.

My customer changed the jumper as suggested unfortunately, nothing changed. Can we confirm now that the LCD is faulty? Is this valid for Return?
