hello .

I am trying to read voltage value using ADC in TMS570

I did all the steps in example_adcDisplay then I connect the pins which i do not use to ground . (ADIN1)

the problem is when (ADIN0) reads value (ADIN1) also gives me random value

so can any one help us to solve this problem please

Hello,

If the ADC is configured as 12-bit resolution, value=70 means the analog input = 3.3V*70/4096 = 0.056V. What is the noise level of your input signal? and what is the noise level of the GND? Can you please increase the voltage level of the input signal?

thank you very much for your replying

ADIN0 is connected to Potentiometer .

This problem occurs when I use the Potentiometer with an external power source, meaning when I use (0-5v) of board itself, there is no problems

So how should I solve this problem ?

Hi,

BTW, the TMS570LS0432 doesn't support 5V input for ADC. The maximum ADC input is 3.6V.

Does ADIN[1] have the same reading when you adjust the POT to output a high voltage level for example 2V?
