TM4C129XNCZAD: Can't program TM4C129XNCZAD after first programming

Dear E2E support,

I have a custom board with TM4C129XNCZAD processor, JTAG connector 20 PIN interface, XDS110 debug probe with OLIMEX ARM-JTAG-20-10 adapter.

I stable software until 2017. Today after software changes (only over the logic, i didn't change hw configuration), I download the software on the board. The board seems doesn't run the new software and it seems locked. I can't download a new software or erase memoty neither with uniflash or ccs debugger.

I try the same on other boad same hardware and I get same result.

I don't know what make the board falling down in this lockout state.

My question is how I can unlock it? Is there a "master reset" or phisical reset I can perform using the debug probe?

Hello Stefano,

You likely had a faulty clock setting that locked up the MCU. To recover it, you need to use the device unlock process. Since you have a JTAG connector you will want to use Uniflash to do this. I have seen that the Unlock feature inside of the GUI can be unreliable so I recommend using the command line procedure we have documented in our JTAG guide.
