EK-TM4C123GXL: Problem installing Tivaware for C series

Hello,

I am trying to install on windows pc Tivaware C series software but the executable is not responding. I tried to execute as admin and i have the same problem. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Hi,

Which software are you trying to install and run on the PC? Is it the SW-TM4C-2.2.0.295.exe? Can you be more specific? What Windows version do you have? Can you try on another PC? Will you have the same problem on a different PC?

Hello,

Im using Windows 10 Home 20H2. I tried to install it on a friends computer and its fine.

I tried to install:

- SW-EK_TM4C123GXL-2.2.0.295.exe

- SW-TM4C-2.2.0.295.exe

Should i uninstall CCS first?

No, I don't think you need to uninstall CCS. You are saying you are having problem running the TivaWare installer. Therefore, it is not CCS related. If it works on your friend's machine then it has more to do with your own machine. I will suggest you unistall any prior TivaWare if you had before. Perhaps shutdown the PC and restart again and see if that helps.

My colleague also suggests you disable antivirus if that makes a difference.

I disabled the antivirus and it didnt work. I uninstalled CCS, installed TivaWare and installed CSS and now it's fine.
