TMS570LS1227: HALCoGen generated code and F021 FLASH API source code license

Part Number: TMS570LS1227
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Dear all,

can I use HALCoGen generated source code and F021 FLASH API source code (see the license in the note bellow) for industrial production /serial line?

If so, what are the restrictions that come with this software? can I modify the source code as I wish?

Thanks a lot for your time and support.

With my best regards,

Luis

  • Dear QJ Wang,

    thanks for your prompt reply.

It is understood for HALCoGen  that it can be used for production following the requirements listed in the previous post.

Do the same requirements apply to the source code of F021 FLASH API?

    Best regards,

    Luis

  • Hi Luis,

TI does not release the source for the flash API. There are liability, warranty, proprietary IP  issues with modification or release of the API source code.
