Hi everybody,
it is said that C2000Ware replaces ControlSUITE. Regarding position encoders, when I compared the two software packages, I see that C2000Ware no longer includes software for position encoders such as BissC, EnDat, Resolver and SinCos. (Maybe, I have ovverlooked.)
My question:
- Will C2000Ware continue to support the position encoders such as BissC, EnDat, Resolver and SinCos in the future? If no, do I always have to use ControlSUITE for developments in the future or are there other possibilities?
Thanks in advance - Bui
As you saw, the MotorControl SDK has the t-format encoder interface. It includes all source code including the CLB configuration. We will add additional ones (BiSS-C and EnDat2.2) over time. BiSS-C has plans to go out hopefully late this year.
I will check on the resolver and write back.
Hello,
Moving the Resolver and SinCos to the SDK is not yet prioritized. For now the examples in ControlSuite can be used.
Best Regards
Lori
