TMS320F28388D: Ethercat - PHY Address and offset

Part Number: TMS320F28388D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83848M

Hello,

I have a question regarding the possibility to use different PHYs for EtherCAT.

Right now I'm using 2 x DP83822 with addresses 0 & 1 respectively, and everything is working ok.

I'm planning to change to the DP83848M because of stock, but I'm not sure what changes do I have to do to work with it.

In the "Beckhoff - EtherCAT PHY selection guide" it's marked as a compatible PHY, but I see I can't set up the address 0.

I can't find in the EtherCAT example code from the F28388D any clear place where to change the PHY ADDR or the Offset. Do I need to do it or it would work directly?

Thanks in advance,
