Bhima,

Is this TI EVM or your custom board? if using LaunchXL F280049C, then take a look at the link provided in last post by Florian and let us know if it resolves your issue?

If it is controlCARD, then are you using onboard XDS100v2 on controlCARD or it is external XDS100v2?

Please refer to controlCARD user's guide, section 3.4 using controlCARD and configure the switch accordingly.
