TIDM-02008: Replacement for Q100, Q101

Part Number: TIDM-02008
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMCS1101

I'm looking for an alternative for the Q100,Q101 (STY145N65M5) used on TIDM-02008
as there we couldn't find any supplier who can afford them.

I found "STY112N65M5"

Reference Part "STY145N65M5" >>  N-channel 650 V, 0.012 Ω, 138 A

alternative Part "STY112N65M5" >>  N-channel 650 V, 0.019 Ω, 96 A

Will it work fine at the same conditions or will it cause any problem at any situation, if so would you recommend better alternative part?

  • Ahmed,

Please note that today, July 5th, is a US holiday.  You should expect a reply no later than end of day tomm, July 6th.  Appreciate your patience.

    Best,

    Matthew

  • Hi Ahmed,

The alternative part should work. However, as it has higher Rds_on, the overall efficiency may drop slightly.

    Best,

    John

  • Dear John,

    Ok that's good.

there are 2 other parts Not available at any trusted supplier stock

1- gate driver "UCC27714D" , I couldn't find any alternative with the same specs, could you recommend another part.

2- HALL CURRENT SENSOR "ACS722LLCTR-10AB-T", I found alternative part at TI "TMCS1101A1BQDR"
the alternative have higher current rating and quite the same accuracy.

need your suggestion about the best replacement for the gate driver and if the alternative of the current sensor will do the same function without any problem.

  • Hi Ahmed,

    1. We have reference design that uses UCC27712DR but it seems like out of stock as well.

    2. TMCS1101 can be used. Chose the right device based on the maximum current on your design.

    Best,

    John
