TMS320F28335: Internal Pull-ups on Boot Mode Pins

Part Number: TMS320F28335

Hello all,

I would like to know if there are internal Pull-up resistor on Boot-mode pins of TMS320F28335 and what is their value (or current if active circuits).

I read in some other threads that there are internal weak pull-ups on those pins, but I cannot find this information in official documentation.

Best regards,

Alessio

  • Alessio,

Thanks for reaching out to the E2E forums.

The information on the pull strength can be found in Section 7.6 Electrical Characteristics on page 37 of the device datasheet.  All GPIOs on this device have an internal pullup, and in the case of the Boot pins they are enabled at power up/reset.

In the case of the pull-up strength, it has a TYP if 140uA with MIN of 80uA and MAX of 190uA.

    Best,

    Matthew

  • Hi Matthew,

    thanks for your reply.

"All GPIOs on this device have an internal pullup, and in the case of the Boot pins they are enabled at power up/reset This is just the information I cannot find in the datasheet. Now it is clear, thanks.

    Best regards,

    Alessio
