TMDSCNCD28388D: Industrial Ethernet/IP possible

Hi Martin, 

You can use the TMDSCNCD28388D board to run TCP/IP stack example . You can refer the example provided in C2000Ware located at  C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_04_00_00\libraries\communications\Ethernet\third_party\lwip\examples\enet_lwip

Thanks for this information. I had a look on this, but this example not solve my question. What I mean is Ethernet / IP = Industrial Protocol. Please have a look on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EtherNet/IP Can you help me also for this issue ?

We do support TCP/IP and UDP , however we don't have any example for Ethernet with Common Industrial Protocol.

Dear all,

I'm not sure, if this post is on the right place. I looked for other TI solutions for Ethernet/IP. I found that with the SITARA AMIC110 there are solutions with EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP and Profinet. But this CPU don't have a C2000 MCU, which I need for my application.

My questions :

1. I'm not sure, how many CPU power I need for the Ethernet/IP. Thinking to use the Ethernet/IP stack from SITARA AMIC110  and implement it to my TMS320F28388D CPU. Possible ?

2. When I use the AMIC110 and connect it to another C2000 MCU, do I need the DDR3 RAM on the AMIC110 ?
