TMS320F280025: Change a tolerance of measured MARK/SPACE frequency

Can you please elaborate your question with specific details? Meaning, how are you measuring frequency on F280025? Maybe explaining it via block diagram can help me understand better, also it will help direct the question to appropriate experts.

Sorry. I am using TI demo code/library  under the directory <C2000Ware Installed path>/device_support/f28004x\example\boostxl_afe301_f28004x_rx to measure the sunSpec Rapid shutdown PLC signal (SunSpec).

In demo code, it is going to measure a freq which either in 131.250KHz (mark) or  143.75KHz (space)only, other that than the library will filter out. If measured freq is mark, 1 will be return by library and it is space, -1 will be return, other that than 0 will be return.

Right now, I would like to know how to release tolerance of the filter. For example, if frequency of sine wave is in between +-5% of 131.250 (mark), library still return 1.

I think adjusting the value of 'FSK_struct1.detection_threshold' could make this work, but I can't quantify the value it would need to be set to for the +/- 5% tolerance you need. There's dependencies on your system as well when setting the detection_threshold.

If you need to implement something more substantial then you'll need to make changes to the FSK Correlation Detector Library source and algorithm.

Thanks for your comment. Of course, we can fix the issue by our own without any support form TI but it made me extreme disappoint about support from TI.
