I am trying export code from Simulink embedded coder support package C2000 to F28335 Microcontroller. I use external mode so that I can see my signals in real time. The model builds and compiles but I get the error "Could not connect to XCP slave: XCP Master internal error: Busy(0) or no timeout(2) for 255".
Why is this the case and how can I solve it?
Please note that this is not a build error. The model is able to compile if I use "Build" in Simulink. However, if I try to "Monitor and Tune" using XCP over serial, then I come up with the abovementioned error
Pitambar,
I will ping the MW team on the above, this appears Simulink based issue so we will need to get them involved.
Best,
Matthew
Pitambar,
Did you configure proper COMM port in configuration parameters for external mode?
Did you check if you are running any other applications like Putty which uses the same COMM port?
You may also try to increase the baud rate of the serial communication.
If the problem did not resolve, it would be best for you to get in touch with our support channel as we need to look at your model to understand the issue better. When we have a support ticket, our internal process enables us to involve right people on this issue and we will immediately get in touch with you to understand the case in more detailed way.
