TMS320F28388D: C2000Ware lwip ethernet example web portal question

I imported and set up the ethernet lwip example by following the instructions in Readme.txt, and am able to ping the control card successfully, but when I enter 192.168.0.4 in to a web browser as the instructions describe it won't connect to anything.

I saw in other posts some stuff about a hex file for the web interface, but I don't know which of the binaries in the build directory correspond to that hex file so I'm not sure how to know that it's actually there? Are there any other reasons why I might be able to ping the control card but not see the web interface according to the instructions?

Hi,

Can you share a snapshot of the web browser ? When you enter the address, it should open up a webpage shows up with TI logo and an interactive button.

Sure, here is the browser screenshot, and I included the ping result as well.

After some time trying to understand how the web interface is supposed to work I think I might have a clue... I have the .map file open and it doesn't appear that anything defined in fs.c or fsdata.c are mentioned in there... I interpret this to mean that the data from those files was never linked, is that correct?

Hi,

Yes, if the map file doesn't mention a file, then it is not linked.

Can you share the map file? It should have entries for fs.c.

Actually I think I found the problem - I was trying to use the UDP example and didn't realize the web portal doesn't work with UDP. When I switched to the other example this morning it started working.
