Hi,
One more question
I Try to connect via build-in XDS110 to Launchpad F28002x
Serial port via XDS110 works ok, but jtag doe not work. Tried 3 boards with the same results. All jumper are fitted, stock setup.
Any idea?
Get this:
[Start: Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe_0]
Execute the command:
%ccs_base%/common/uscif/dbgjtag -f %boarddatafile% -rv -o -S integrity
[Result]
-----[Print the board config pathname(s)]------------------------------------
C:\Users\RASTY~1.SLU\AppData\Local\TEXASI~1\
CCS\ti\0\0\BrdDat\testBoard.dat

Hi Rasty,
Just to make sure you are using default switch setting on Launchxl-F280025C?
Also, what is the CCS version you are using? If you are using older CCS, can you install latest CCS (11.1.x). It will install latest FTDI driver and emulator drivers.
Can you check Windows Device Manager if it is enumerated properly?
Can you check the boot switch on board? I will try Wait-Boot mode, just to make sure any code is not running.
Thanks & Regards,
Santosh
Hi Santosh
Next question.
Boot over eCAN.
I'm looking at https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spru722c/spru722c.pdf
I understand that I have to convert out file to some binary format and stream it over CAN with 2 bytes in each message.
Is that right?
I need help with interpretation of Table 9. Bit-Rate Values for Different XCLKIN Values.
Namely,
a) how to do I set "XCLKIN Values" ?
b) default eCAN bit rate ?
Best regards
Rasty
Rasty,
If you do not mind, can you please create a new thread for CAN topic. That way we can assign to CAN expert and he can respond much better than I can. It will be better to manage and to make sure it is addressed on time.
Thanks & Regards,
Santosh
No problem.
I posted question about eCAN boot some time ago, but no answer. I'd appreciate if you could forward it to CAN expert.
Best regards
Rasty
Thanks Rasty. I will follow-up with subject matter expert on CAN boot, sorry for not getting response on that thread.
I will close this thread now.
With Best Regards,
Santosh
