TMS320F28388D: SFO_V8 + VCRC Compilation Error

Part Number: TMS320F28388D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE,

Hi,

We're using:

- CCS 11.1.0

- CGT 20.2.6

- C2000Ware 3.04.00.00

- Sys/BIOS 6.83.0.18

We are using HRPWM functionality, and use functions from the SFO_V8 library (SFO_v8_fpu_lib_build_c28_driverlib_eabi.lib). Recently we had the need to use the VCRC instructions available on the TMS320F28388D. As with the original post (linked above), when we enabled the VCRC compiler flag, we got the following error:

#16004-D file "C:/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_3_04_00_00/libraries/calibration/hrpwm/f2838x/lib/SFO_v8_fpu_lib_build_c28_driverlib_eabi.lib<SFO_v8_fpu_lib_build_c28_driverlib.obj>" has a Tag_VCU attribute value of "2" that is different than one previously seen ("3"); combining incompatible files [Project] C/C++ Problem

It was indicated in the original post that this would be fixed in a future version of C2000Ware. We were wondering if this issue has been corrected in either of the 4.x versions of C2000Ware? I wasn't able to find any information related to this in the release notes.

Thanks,

Greg E
