TMS320F28388D: by using sci flash programmer not able to update cm firmware.

What is your clock source and value? In addition, can you confirm that you have set your device to SCI Boot?

thanks for reply.

i am using control card of f28388d device. as i see in the serial flash programmer document they just mentioned to pass the command to load application firmware with flash kernel . so clock source and value should be set in flash kernel we are sending through programmer utility.

Did you reset the device after it is set to SCI boot? Can you also enable the -v flag when loading? This will show whether autobaud lock is being completed. 

Yes, i did reset on device after setting it on sci boot mode. if enable -v flag in command auto baud set is happening as you can see in below image. 

What are the S1:A switch positions?

switch s1 1&2 both ON state.

Can you try turning the JTAG switch off and see if this makes a difference?

i tried as you suggested still same.i am not able to update application.
