Hi Team,
Could you help our customer. I have post their concern below.
I am programming my launchpad using the simulink C2000 embedded coder. I am able to send and receive serial messages with the connected TI bq76pl455evm. This EVM needs its RX line pulled low for a certain amount of time to perform a communications reset. When I use the SCI transmit and GPIO digital output block in the same model, I receive the error that the GPIO pin is already used by SCI transmit. Are there any recommendations regarding how I can achieve this?.I alread read and check the MathWorks Solutions for C2000 MCU’s
I am specifically wanting to pull the TX pin of the microcontroller's SCIB module to trigger a comms reset on the connected evm.
Best regards,
Jonathan
Jonathan,
SCI expert in our team looked at this. This looks like a MathWorks question, not a limitation in SCI on the device. The bug they mentioned is that MathWorks software is blocking them from changing to GPIO (our device SCI doesn’t block this).
So please ask the customer to post the question to MathWorks forum. Please take a look at MathWorks FAQ at this link below:
If you have further questions, the best way to get support on MathWorks products is to contact MathWorks live tech support.
You can also search for answers or post a question on MATLAB Answers C2000 forum. Additionally, there is info on MathWorks support C2000 in Documentation and Examples.
I will close the thread from here as the software is supported by MathWorks team on their forum.
Thanks & Regards,
Santosh
