How to use Comparator Subsystem (CMPSS) for zero cross detection of ac signal which level shifted...also how good is cmpss for zero cross detection...means speed and accuracy is it better then pll

Hi Jahangeer,

With CMPSS, you can set up the DAC threshold to be the value that is level shifted. CMPSS can be used to detect zero crossing of ZVS/ZCS in our reference design. I am not aware of using it for AC sine wave detection but it could. And you can use SPLL or ADC post processing block for this purpose if needed.
