TMDSCNCD280039C: How to configure ADC block in external mode?

I am using Control Card F2800389C

Trying to obtain external potentiometer reading in simulink. Connencted ADC block to Display block in simulink.

ADC block is configured according to below image. But couldn't obtain the ADC reading.

How the adc should be configured for external mode operation?
