Hi,
I use the HVPSFB_PCMC sample project from the controlSUITE running on TMS320F28069 microcontroller custom board while having an issue with the ePWM2B signal. The problem is the delayed deadband partition (FED) of the complementary pulse as I share its oscilloscope view as an attachment. I also run the same project on F28069M launchpad without observing this error. When I investigated the sample code for the ePWM configuration, I realised that the ePWM1 is configured to create deadbands by the deadband unit via setting DBRED and DBFED registers; however, ePWM2 is configured by using the action qualifier submodule. I am suspicious from this structure difference as a fragile part in terms of compatibility of the project between TMS320F28069 and TMS320F28069M controllers because ePWM1 pair works correctly. I would be more than happy to get recommendations to solve this problem ...
Hi Joseph,
Thank you for your question, one of our ePWM experts will get back to you shortly.
Hi,
My colleague and I discovered that the problem exists due to low Gui_Ifb value as we test the system without connecting a load at first. We migrated to VMC version of the sample project. What we wonder is how this sample project for PCMC version works along with the HVPSFB official pack, should we provide an instant load at the output for custom HVPSFB designs ?
Hi Joseph,
The subject matter expert is out of office due to Thanksgiving Holiday and will get back to you next week Monday/Tuesday. Sincere apology for inconvenience.

Hi Joseph,
Have you checked the user guide for the initial load? I suppose you can follow the settings in the user guide for HVPSFB kit test.
Regards,
