Hi Team,
Good day,
Our customer purchased the EVM has a quality problem and wants to apply for after-sales, which is its abnormal phenomenon description:
One of the two Ethernet ports cannot be connected, and one connection cannot control the LED light. Everything else is normal. The Linux system is also normal
Please agree with his application for after-sales

C:\TwinCAT\3.1 and Code Composer Studio 10.4.0
Hi
Have you tried running any other example (not EtherCAT) to verify both ports?
In EtherCAT, TwinCAT keeps only Port 0 open by default. Port 1 maybe closed. Can you try opening both ports from TwinCAT and then try?
Regards
Dhaval
The Linux operating system is running properly. I can't do the rest because I don't know
Hello Dhaval,
Good day,
Do you agree to the customer's return or exchange?

James

Unless we try this, I can not comment about EtherCAT not working on both ports.

Hi Dhaval,
Our customer replied:
EtherCAT allows both interfaces to connect, which is the basic feature of redundancy requirements. The program sample in the original sd of the development board and the program EtherCAT two port tests run before our program sample are normal. Now everything is out of whack and there are no other examples to test.

Hello Dhaval,
The customer's response is as follows:
Box 1 (TIESC_CiA-002)' (1001): 'PREOP to SAFEOP' failed! Error: 'check device state for SAFEOP'. AL Status '0x0012' read and '0x0004' expected. AL Status Code '0x001e - Invalid SM IN cfg'
(TIESC_CiA-002)' (1001): state change aborted (requested 'SAFEOP', back to 'PREOP
This fault occurs when twincat is running freerun mode or in an enable configuration. There is no way to proceed to the next step. The development board has virtual soldering, the front is not able to reach this step, press the press will reach this step. We can't determine if there's a problem with the example code or some other glitch on the board.
Have a nice day .
James
