TMS320F28035: PLC module for TMS320F28035 MCU

We have some reference solutions for newer C2000 devices (Like F2837x & F28004x) here https://www.ti.com/lit/sprac94. Relevant software is available in C2000WARE for it.

If your considering the TMS320F28035 MCU, I might suggest you look at the F280013x device we recently released.

I'm not considering the TMS320F28035 MCU but I have a project based on TMS320F28035 MCU and right now I considering PLC functionality.

I get some info about your newest PLC solutions based on AFE03x module so I'm serching for a guidenance of how to port it on TMS320F28035 MCU and I will be grateful for a help.

The transmit solutions discussed in the App Note I linked to before should be able to be ported to the F2803x device. However the Receive solution depends on the TMU module that's on F2837x and newer devices. Porting the RX solution to the F2803x fixed-point device would not be too simple.

We do have an older PLC-Lite solution on the F2803x device which you may come across being mentioned on this forum (See below for an example). Support for the solution is limited from our side at this point, but we may be able to provide more information if interested. There may be other limitations with using this PLC-Lite solution as well.

I don't know exactly yet, but there will be little information to exchange. Just voltage and current readings.

If little information is needing to be exchanged with low-throughput, then the FSK solution (discussed in SPRAC94) could be leveraged. It would be much simpler to try with a C2000 device that already supports the solution however.

No it isn't any longer. I can check with a colleague on what can still be provided for PLC-LITE once they're back in office next week.

I can grant access to the SDKs that ran PLC-LITE on the F28035.  This will get you the AFE031 drivers as well for that device.  These will be delivered "AS-IS" we no longer have SW support for those libraries, but as Kevin said if it gets you where you need with the F28035 then that would be the simplest soln using that device.  Look for an email from TI later today with access details.

Hi MatthewPate I have got two packages: PLC_LITE_Source_PackageV42x0 and PLCLITE_SDK_PackageV4005. Is it the same and differs only in the version number?
