TMS320F28069M: H-bridge EPWM Generation in TAPAS board

I am using 2 Half-Bridges of the TAPAS board (4 ePWM and 5 ePWM) to execute a full-bridge inverter. However, when I turn on the supply to the TAPAS board, the supply protection turns on and the supply trips. I am not able to understand what is going wrong. I have tried the same coding concept in TMS320F28379D and there I am able to generate two complementary PWM pulses for 4 ePWM and 5 ePWM. But the same coding is not working on TAPAS board.

Hi Ronaq,

Have you tested the board with a basic example without PWM enabled? Does the supply protection turn on and supply still trip? We want to figure out first if it is board issue or PWM issue.

Hey Ryan,

The individual half bridges are working properly and the supply doesn't get tripped. Also, ePWM 4 and ePWM 5 are generated properly without phase shift. But, when phase shift is incorporated in the code, the supply protection turns on and the supply trips.

Hi Ronaq, what is your phase shift configuration? Is there a case where PWM outputs are both high?
