I keep getting this error in programming the launchlx.

Any ideas?

I cannot figure out how to use the firmware/serial updater- or if it needs it.

Hi,

Is the launchpad visible in the device manager? Have you tried using a different usb cable?

Yes, I later tried another cable (I was using the one that came with it) - and it worked fine. I should have thought the new included one was no good…
