Hi,
I forgot to pull up the GPIO (GPIO32) that determines the boot mode when designing the hardware.
In the next version, we plan to modify the circuit, but we would like to proceed with the evaluation of the current board, so we would like to change the default boot mode pin or change the BOOTPIN_CONFIG setting as described in the datasheet.
Specifically, we're looking into "Zero Boot Mode", where the device always boots in flash without using the boot mode select pins.
Q1.
Are you sure the value to write to BOOTPIN_CONFIG is 0x5AFFFFFF? Are there any other changes that need to be made?
Q2.
Since these areas are OTP, care must be taken to avoid writing mistakes. Could you tell me the writing procedure and the address to write to?
Thanks,
Conor
Hi Conor,
1) Yes, the BOOTPIN_CONFIG must be 0x5AFFFFFF.
2) For this question I think Mathew is supporting for you in the thread: (+) TMS320F280039C: How to write to OTP for standalone boot - C2000 microcontrollers forum - C2000︎ microcontrollers - TI E2E support forums
so please refer to that thread
Thanks,
Ronak
Hi Ronak,
Is there any place to change other than BOOTPIN_CONFIG ?
Also, it would be very helpful if you could help me as I need to urgently respond to the same OTP writing.
Thanks,
Conor
