TMS320F280039: TI-TXT file generated by CCS, some address missed

I'm assuming you're using the memory export tool that's part of the CCS debug session; if so, have you verified that the output formats are identical? Can you show me the settings you use?

The export file tool is UniFlash downloaded from Ti's official website, and the export format is TI-TXT, and the settings are as follows:

According to this configuration, the TI-TXT file generated by CCS is still missing FF, as shown in the figure below, it is normal to read it with UNIFLASH.
We need CCS to directly generate normal TI-TXT files, could you please help on this? thank you!

This thread didn't mention a solution, and filling FF with -fill did not help to this.

I suspect you overlook this part of that thread ...

In the same document referenced by Ki, search for the sub-chapter titled Image Mode and the --fill Option .  Learn how to put a ROMS directive in a command file.  That ROMS directive will describe the memory range of interest (probably all of flash).  Use image mode and the --fill option.

The document to search is the C28x assembly tools manual.  You need to do the same thing.

It already does.  It is not a requirement of normal TI-TXT files that empty spaces between memory ranges be filled with 0xffff.

As described in the documentation, write ROMS instructions in the Cmd file, and the compilation will report an error: error #10008-D: cannot find file "ROMS"
How should I write if the output of the specified range 0x80000~0x88000 fills FF.

The ROMS directive cannot be supplied on the command line.  It must be supplied in a command file.  Please see the article Hex utility in CCS for an example that shows how to use a hex utility command file in a CCS project.

Thanks for your support. May I ask is there a reference about hex.cmd writing? Our customer reflect that there is a roms error in his own code.

I have read this paragraph, only explains the ROMS instruction, does not say how to implement it in the project, can you provide a simple project case? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't have an example CCS project that uses a hex utility command file.

Please see the article Hex utility in CCS.  Focus on the part titled Passing a Hex Command File.  Put the ROMS directive in that command file.
