There was a report of this error in feb 2023 TMS320F28386D: about CMD Tool error in sysconfig

It was acknowledged as a bug:

I did already then requested a link to follow the progress of this but newer got a reply to that.

And now i see the bug is still present in the latest C2000Ware 5.0 and sysconfig 1.17.

So I kindly request again to get a jira link (or similar) to track progress on this bug.

I still see the bug in my local IDE, and I also reproduced it in the cloud version (see attached file).

How to reproduce.

  1. Import the example "empty sysconfig dual cpu"
  2. Add MEMCFG module to both cpu's
  3. Add CMD module to cpu1 config
  4. in CMD module, Create a RAMGS mem combination, of 1 or more RAMGS sectors (Fig 1).
  5. in CMD->Sextion->C28x Compiler section->ramfunc,
    load from a flash sector, and run from a RAMGS sector
    1. If you select a "build-in section" like RAMGS7, there is no error.(Fig 2)
    2. If you selct the mem combination created above, it will show an error about missing MEMCFG. (Fig 3)

Project files, the cloud IDE was not able to download it as one tar, so here is the three projects for this setup in separate files.
