CCS/TMS320F28379D: Vienna Rectifier-Based, Three-Phase Power Factor Correction (PFC)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-1000, C2000WARE

Dear TI Team,

I have a keen interest in understanding the methods and techniques employed in TIDM-1000 Vienna Rectifier PFC and I believe that your expertise in this area would be invaluable. If you could kindly provide some information or insights into exactly which control technique has been implemented in in the closed-loop control of Vienna Rectifier in TIDM-1000 and it would greatly aid in my implementation and comprehension of the subject matter.

Thanks & Regards

  • Hello Balasubrahmanyam,

please refer our userguide, this explains itself.

For the closed loop we have implemented PI control (with feedforward). To understand the s/w  implementation download from C2000ware at this location: ti\c2000\C2000Ware_DigitalPower_SDK_4_04_00_00\solutions\tidm_1000

This has both power suite and non-power suite version for the c2000 device you select. Non power suite version code will be user friendly, flexible to modify control implementation.

Let me know if there is a specific concern.

    Thanks & Regards,
