Hi team,

my customer is having the following problem with the program they use to input data on our device:

TI MCU TMS320F28034 used on the converter control board is currently being developed using Blackhawk BHFlashburn_v4.1 for later MCU flashing, but due to the fact that most of the current computers are being upgraded, the Java version has been upgraded to Java 8, while Blackhawk BHFlashburn_v4.1 is only Java 7 compatible. As a result, the Blackhawk BHFlashburn_v4.1 on the new PC is not available. So, only one old PC can be used in the post-development and debugging process, which greatly affects productivity.

Do you suggest any alternatives to Blackhawk BHFlashburn_v4.1?

Hello Riccardo,

Per the following thread, have you asked the customer if they can use Uniflash version 5 or higher?

Alternatively, there are other ways of flashing the device such as using CCS, or through some serial flash programmer like SCI or CAN.

I have succeed install the Uniflash, but one problem is I can't find BH-USB-200 in the below list, I only have this emulator. So I need buy another emulator in the below list? which you recommend ?

Or any other solution , I can use BH-USB-200 to download .Hex file to MCU TMS320F28034 ,Thanks!

(I also installed CCS,but I don't know how to use it)

The customer can refer to the CCS User's Guide.

Per Blackhawk's website:

I believe this means you can use the option for ‘Texas Instruments XDS2xx USB Debug Probe’, you can try this option in CCS/Uniflash.
