We are working on a custom board with TMS320F2800157 MCU.

Initially, we tried with Lauchpad157 & Drv8353 board interface working fine without issue.

The same software when adapted to a custom board faces an issue while trying with the DMC_LEVEL_1 build.

Getting various faults like Moduleover current, Current offset, and voltage Offset. (How to resolve ?)

The custom board contains TMS320F280157 MCU and a Separate Power board(FET Drivers)(any macros add/remove?)

Offsets reading in expression windows are not as per the UMC document? which variable needs to be changed/adjusted for offset calibration issue

Hi,

Are the current and voltage offset voltages different between Lauchpad157 & Drv8353 board and your custom hardware? Please see section 3.1.2.1 Setting Hardware Board Parameters of the spruj26 User's Guide.

You can use the file located below to help with calculating the parameters based on your hardware.

Thanks for your response.

As per DCM_BUILD_LEVEL_1 able to get different offsets but not matching as per the UMC document.

Where to change and match with offset match with the UMC document?

Removed all DRV8353-related code parts because it's a custom board(custom gate driver board).

Does anything need to be considered extra? followed all the steps like the UMC document.

Getting various faults like module over current, voltage offset, and current offset.

Checked EPWM pins with the oscilloscope, no pulses are there at EPWM pins, and the motor is not connected as per DCM_LEVEL_1 guidance.

Please find the attachment of the screenshot.

Calculated parameters as per custom board(not sure if it's correct or not ).

OK, please focus effort on getting Level 1 to produce the correct offsets before moving onto other build levels.

These are the correct parameters you need to update based on your hardware. Did you fill in the excel sheet to calculate the values highlighted in Green then update your code? I marked in red/blue/black the 3 sections you should look at.

Thanks for the reply.

yes, I Calculated the offset setting based on the Excel sheet you mentioned.

Able to read correct Bus voltage 24V and offsets are not showing correct one.

offset IA, IB, and IC around 3200

and offset VA, VB, and VC around 0.7

So, copy this value into the offset of the actual code like this below

Finally, current and Voltage offset faults do not occur now(Dont know if this is the correct way to solve the fault). but still facing a Motor startup fail fault and not getting any PWM signal in the oscilloscope.
